Bellingham returned to his childhood club Birmingham to watch them defeat Barcelona and received a hero's welcome.
The England and Real Madrid star arrived at St Andrews Stadium to watch the preseason friendly, where he was met with enthusiastic applause.
Birmingham posted a video on social media showing Bellingham walking down the steps from the box and into the crowd in the stands.
The video caption reads: "Zude, he's home."
Bellingham, now 23, joined Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham in 2020 when he was just 17, for over £20 million.
He thus became the most valuable player of his age group in history at the time, and Birmingham retired his number 22 jersey after the transfer, which also relieved the club's financial pressure.
Bellingham made only 44 appearances for Birmingham's first team, but he was still the center of attention when he returned.
As he walked toward the VIP seats, fans shouted, "That's Zud !"
He waved and shook hands with the young fans around him before walking to a comfortable seat.
He raised his hands above his head, his sunglasses still hanging on his shirt, and waved to the fans.
Enthusiastic fans chanted " Zude ." He then changed into a Birmingham jersey in the second half.
During the match, he placed his hand on the team emblem at one point and celebrated two goals in a 2-2 draw.
Birmingham ultimately defeated Barcelona 3-2 in a penalty shootout .
Birmingham played "Hey Jude" before the match, seemingly hinting at his arrival.
Fans chanted " Zood Bellingham, he's one of us," while also singing along to classic Beatles songs.
