The mailman shared his story on his Horsham social media account, saying, "I had the pleasure of chatting with Marc Cucurella, the local World Cup champion, while delivering mail to him today."
"He's a very nice person and very down-to-earth. He even let me touch his championship medal."
"I think I am probably the first Briton to win a World Cup medal in 60 years."
