According to British media outlet talksport, Jack Grealish's career at Manchester City may be coming to an end, with new manager Maresca admitting that he has not yet spoken with the £100 million man.
Manchester City correspondent Sam Lee stated on talkSPORT's "Morning Sports" program that Jack Grealish's future is no longer at the Etihad Stadium. The 30-year-old English winger, who contributed 2 goals and 6 assists on loan at Everton last season, suffered a stress fracture in his foot in January against his former club Aston Villa, ending his season and causing him to miss England's World Cup squad.
Everton did not activate the £50 million buy option in his loan agreement, and Grealish will return to Manchester City this summer. According to talkSPORT, Saudi leagues are interested in him, with Al-Hilal being a potential destination.
Sam Lee analyzed: "I think the only question is where he'll go and how much the transfer fee will be. Cancelo's situation was similar two years ago; although he participated in the preseason, the club had already decided to let him go. Grealish hasn't been explicitly ruled out, but he's still recovering from injury. Maresca brought changes after taking over, but Guardiola and Maresca have a close relationship, and they must have had in-depth discussions.
