In an interview with Sky Sports Germany, Jonathan Tah discussed his missed penalty in the World Cup Round of 32 against Paraguay, which ultimately led to Germany's elimination.

How do you view missing the penalty against Paraguay in the World Cup Round of 32?

"I always prepare for this kind of situation. There will always be moments in life, and there will always be setbacks. The question is always how you deal with it and how well you are prepared for it. When I took the penalty, I went in with full confidence, wanting to score, but ultimately I missed. However, more importantly, I set goals for myself before the game: to take responsibility, maintain courage, and step up in difficult times. In the end, I followed these principles, so I can and must accept that I missed the penalty. If I felt that I hadn't followed these principles or done what I originally intended to do, I would find it harder to accept."

Talking about Bayern Munich's new signings Nathaniel Brown and Sebarri

“I’ve gotten to know Nene (Brown) better through the national team. He has a lot of strengths, and he can contribute a lot to the team both offensively and defensively. As for Ismail (Sebarri), we’ve faced each other (at the club level). His games at the World Cup were worth watching; he’s a very complete attacking player who can play in different positions and always creates surprises. He’s very tough to deal with because he’s physically strong and technically gifted. So I’m really looking forward to seeing both of them.”
