When asked about potential interest from clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, he said, "It's always a good thing if those clubs want you. This statement echoes his remarks on the American "Today Show," where he also left his future uncertain: "I have a contract with Barcelona, but in the world of football, you never know what will happen."
The club's and player's positions
Barcelona's stance is firm: if a contract extension cannot be reached, the club intends to sell him this summer to avoid him leaving as a free agent on June 30th next year. Although the board has stated its desire for Ferran Torres to "continue with us," the transfer market seems to be pointing to another path.
