According to The Sun, FIFA president Gianni Infantino, embroiled in controversy, was spotted in Morocco attending an emergency meeting. A Mercedes carrying the troubled FIFA president was photographed entering FIFA's African headquarters in Rabat.

This is the first time Infantino has been seen in public since he was accused of trying to sell shares in FIFA events, including the World Cup.

This usually high-profile figure is facing a full-blown crisis, and the FIFA president's approval rating is declining.

The 56-year-old Gianni Infantino caused chaos in the world of football last week when shocking news broke that he planned to sell his World Cup shares.

Subsequently, there was a strong backlash from the football community, including threats from UEFA and other continental football federations to boycott the World Cup and even plotting to launch a competitive tournament in an attempt to "paralyze FIFA".

Under immense and sustained pressure, Infantino was forced to awkwardly withdraw his plans and abandon this lucrative scheme, and now he must fight to retain his position as FIFA president.

He is now taking extreme measures in an attempt to retain as much support as possible.

According to The Times, Infantino has remained in Rabat and has summoned FIFA officials to the Moroccan capital for an emergency meeting.

It is reported that FIFA officials held a meeting on Tuesday without Gianni Infantino in attendance. At the meeting, all but one person opposed the controversial World Cup financial plan.

Nevertheless, the chairman's remaining loyal aides are still shamelessly calling on many of the 211 member associations to publicly support him. If he can hold out until then, he will face elections in March.

Jordanian Football Federation President Prince Ali bin Hussein launched a scathing attack on the Swiss man and his organization, accusing them of "extortion."

There are even claims that FIFA withheld funds owed to the Jordanian Football Federation, and that the Asian National Team Federation, which supports Infantino, would also benefit from this.

Among FIFA's top officials, Wenger and Secretary General Matthias Grafström both strongly criticized Infantino's disgraceful plan.

Meanwhile, even the players began to join the attack on Infantino, with Luis Figo becoming the first well-known retired star to publicly condemn the FIFA president.
